Help Priyanka lay Karthik to rest with dignity in Mumbai
Priyanka lost her brother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $400.

Karthik, my brother, passed away on 8 October after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 74 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Karthik to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $400 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $250
• Transport of the deceased: $55
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $95

Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $250. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
