Help Priya through 8 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Supporting Priya through multiple myeloma: medication, transport to Rohini Cancer Centre, and living costs while She can't work.
Anywhere in the world403 views
Priya was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September. The oncology team at Rohini Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Priya is 38, worked as a bus conductor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rohini Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $900 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $220
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $535
I hope life is good to you.
- Naresh

Praying for you, Naresh. Hope you get there. Thinking of Rohini
Thinking of you, Naresh. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Rohini.
Hope things get better soon, Naresh. Gave what I could, wish it was more. It's not much but it's yours.
Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. After 19 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
