Help Pilar with a HVAC technician's skills: a failed boiler with no heating
Looking for a licensed HVAC technician in San Francisco to donate time or work at cost.

In March an inspector told me that my home has a failed boiler with no heating. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $690 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $80.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Pretoria.
Rooting for you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Cambridge.
thinking of you and your family, Pilar. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
