Help Phượng restart a small grocery stall in Oakland after a storm that collapsed the roof
Phượng lost a cold-storage unit to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $4,500 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For nine years I have run a small grocery stall in Oakland. In April, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,500 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $2,850
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $750
• Shop repairs and licensing: $360
• Working capital for the first month: $540
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

hope the shop reopens soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
