Help Payal restart a barbershop in Austin after a storm that collapsed the roof
A barbershop in Austin needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States2,495 views
For three years I have run a barbershop in Austin. In December, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $2,000
• Initial stock: supplies: $480
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $310
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

how is Payal doing now?
Wishing you the best, Payal. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care.
Keep going. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Aurangabad.
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Üsküdar this morning. Greetings from Üsküdar
