The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. Paolo received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless $350 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in February. Paolo called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available. The household includes an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
