Help Pablo patch the roof before winter
Pablo, a retired bus driver, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Iztapalapa.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Iztapalapa. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $680, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope things get better soon, Pablo. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Best of luck, Pablo. Shared this with my family. All the best.
thinking of you and your family, Pablo. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
