Help Olivia patch the roof before the next storm
The roof at Olivia's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a single mother of three living in Charlotte. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,700, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

best of luck, Olivia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
hope this works out for you. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family, Olivia. Gave what I could, wish it was more!
good luck, Olivia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Anaheim!
Sending love, Olivia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
