Help Nevaeh with a HVAC technician's skills: faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning
Looking for a licensed HVAC technician in Sacramento to donate time or work at cost.

In June an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $890 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $180.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending strength, Nevaeh. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Sacramento.
I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Olinda but we're thinking of you
