Help Mónica patch the roof before winter
The roof at Mónica's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Tucson. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Tucson
Thinking of you and your family, Mónica. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Takoradi
