Michal was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at Tel Aviv University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Michal is 53, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tel Aviv University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,550 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $540 • Scans and lab work: $680 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,450 • Transport to Tel Aviv University Hospital: $880 Glad we found this place. - Avraham
