Help Michael restart a phone repair counter in Gwagwalada after floodwater
A phone repair counter in Gwagwalada needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after floodwater.
🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria577 views
For nine years I have run a phone repair counter in Gwagwalada. In June, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $280
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $90
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $60
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- Michael

Sending strength, Michael. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Porto Alegre

So sorry you're going through this, Michael. This could happen to any of us. Blessings.
You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Negombo but we're thinking of you. Love from Negombo
Thinking of you and your family, Michael. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
