Help Mia keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
The the Thursday Table pantry in Essen is running low just as demand rises; $1,700 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 392 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 43% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Essen market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $530
• Refrigeration and electricity: $260
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $910
