Help Meltem with an overdue gas bill before the rainy season

The gas account is 3 months behind. Meltem received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August. Meltem called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available. The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
