Help me pay for cataract surgery at Abbottabad University Hospital
A scheduled cataract surgery in November is out of reach without help covering $550 of the cost.

In September I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Abbottabad University Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $690, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $550 short.
Doctors at Abbottabad University Hospital told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without cataract surgery. I work as a retail assistant, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $690 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a retail assistant have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. I'll not be able to stand for more than ten minutes during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $550 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $30
• Post-operative medication: $25
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $400
• Physiotherapy sessions: $95
Thank you so much.
