I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Milan Polytechnic, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Milan Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $165
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,550
• Final term tuition: $1,735
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Keep going, Vincenzo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Wiesbaden so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
