Help me finish an accounting degree at the Gazipur Institute of Technology - $650 to go
A first-generation student, Zahid needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at the Gazipur Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Gazipur Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
• Final term tuition: $350
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $30

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Zahid.
Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $240. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
Hope it all works out, Zahid. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Nashik.
