Help me finish a pharmacy diploma at Nashville Community College - $6,000 to go
A first-generation student, Katherine needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at Nashville Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $6,000.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $6,000 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $260
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,700
• Final term tuition: $3,040

Take care, Katherine. Looking forward to the next update. I hope March is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
Hope you get there. After 16 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
