I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Katowice Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Katowice Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,000
• Final term tuition: $1,150
• Exam and lab fees: $60
• Textbooks and materials: $140
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Artur
Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $1,000. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
Hang in there, Artur. Good luck with the exams, you've got this.
Rooting for you, Artur. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Thinking of you. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Half-Way Tree
