Help Mauricio patch the roof before the autumn rains
The roof at Mauricio's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Dayton. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,550, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck, Mauricio. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.
Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings!
Rooting for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Dayton.
