Help Martine patch the roof before the monsoon
The roof at Martine's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Paris. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,050, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

keep going, Martine. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
stay strong. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. All the best.
