Help Manuel patch the roof before winter
The roof at Manuel's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Aurora. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless!
Rooting for you, Manuel. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
sending love, Manuel. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Birmingham.
