Help Majid through 10 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
10 rounds of treatment are planned at the Giza Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Majid was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September. The oncology team at the Giza Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Majid is 25, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Giza Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Household costs while unable to work: $165
• Transport to the Giza Oncology Institute: $165
With deep gratitude,
Salma

it takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Toronto.
Hope it all works out, Salma. Looking forward to the next update
Sending good thoughts, Salma. Wishing Majid a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
