Help Madelyn keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Madelyn runs a volunteer pantry feeding 353 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 353 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Newcastle upon Tyne market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $950
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $930
• Baby formula and diapers: $300
• Refrigeration and electricity: $270
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
