Help Lucky with residency renewal filing and attorney fees
Help Lucky cover the fees of a residency renewal so He can stay with his family.
🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa524 views
Lucky is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for November, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $200. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Lucky has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at the Johannesburg Community Legal Centre has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Lucky could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $200 goes:
• Filing and biometrics fees: $95
• Certified translations and document copies: $40
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $65
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
