Help Lorenzo with an electrician's skills: faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning
Lorenzo has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning, and can't afford a licensed electrician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In July an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $940 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $180.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck, Lorenzo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Sending love, Lorenzo. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
