Help Lorenzo patch the roof before the next storm
The roof at Lorenzo's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Bogotá. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,200, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

sending good thoughts, Lorenzo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless!
Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Cork.
Hope it all works out. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Bogotá
