Help Liton restart a laundry service in Mumbai after a long illness and repossession
Liton lost two washing machines and a dryer to a long illness and repossession and needs $600 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Mumbai. In June, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $340
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $85
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Working capital for the first month: $80
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Liton. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Jakarta
Wishing you peace. Hope you make a strong comeback. All the best
Small businesses are the heart of Mumbai. Hope you're open again soon. All the best
Good luck, Liton. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Sacramento so I could bring a meal.
