Help Lilian through 6 rounds of treatment for stomach cancer
Lilian is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇬 Eastern Region, Uganda429 views
Lilian was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January. The oncology team at Jinja University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Lilian is 40, worked as a primary school teacher until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jinja University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $810
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
• Scans and lab work: $105
Thank you for reading my story.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Lilian.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the biggest at $810. I'll keep the page updated.
Hope things get better soon, Ouma. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Jakarta.
Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Nottingham donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Sending love, Ouma. Hope the doctors have good news. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
