Help Liam patch the roof before the rainy season
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Houston?

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Houston. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,300, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

take care, Liam. Shared this with my family. God bless.
I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Houston
Stay strong. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
rooting for you, Liam. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon!
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
Sending strength, Liam. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Saket so I could bring a meal.
