Help Larysa restart a fish stall in Kyiv after a fire in the building
A fish stall in Kyiv needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a fire in the building.
🇺🇦 Ukraine1,875 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Kyiv. In August, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $195
• Initial stock: the first catch: $180
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $25
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Larysa
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing a freezer and scales comes first ($195) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.

rooting for you, Larysa. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Tlaquepaque.
Sending strength, Larysa. Hope you get there. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
