Kunle is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Warri State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has said Kunle can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kunle has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kunle would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Kunle isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
• Final term tuition: $195
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $50

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Kunle!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. outstanding tuition balance comes first ($240) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Praying for you, Ngozi. Shared this with my family. Blessings.
