Femke passed away on 23 March; we're raising $2,750 for a respectful funeral in Rotterdam.

Femke, my grandmother, passed away on 23 March after a road accident. She was 84 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Femke to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,450
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $570
• Transport of the deceased: $330
• Memorial gathering for the family: $400
