Help Kevin pay for cataract surgery at Coventry General Hospital
Kevin needs cataract surgery at Coventry General Hospital and the family is $6,350 short of the hospital's estimate.

Kevin was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Coventry General Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $6,350 short.
my father has been in and out of Coventry General Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Kevin struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Kevin won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $6,350 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,000
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $2,300
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $320
• Post-operative medication: $260
• Physiotherapy sessions: $320
• Travel and lodging for the family: $150

Best of luck, Arianna. Get well soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Liverpool.
Good luck, Arianna. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Put this on a community board in Anaheim this morning.
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
