Help Keith through 6 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
Keith is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom494 views
Keith was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Manchester Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Keith is 30, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manchester Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Scans and lab work: $1,400
• Transport to Manchester Regional Medical Center: $590
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,010
