Help Kavindi with an electrician's skills: dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms

Kavindi has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms, and can't afford a licensed electrician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In September an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $470 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $20. The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon, Kavindi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page

So sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Pune so I could bring a meal. All the best
