Help Kannan restart a laundry service in Mysuru after floodwater
A laundry service in Mysuru needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.
🇮🇳 Mysuru, Karnataka, India487 views
For three years I have run a laundry service in Mysuru. In August, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $290
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $90
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you, Kannan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up
Rooting for you, Kannan. Hope you get there. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Bakersfield
