Kamran was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Rawalpindi Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Kamran is 30, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rawalpindi Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
