Justyna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at the Warsaw Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,450.
The registrar has said Justyna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Justyna has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Justyna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Justyna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Warsaw Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,250
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Textbooks and materials: $120
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
