Help Joaquim restart a roadside café in Campinas after floodwater
Joaquim lost an espresso machine and grinder to floodwater and needs $950 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For four years I have run a roadside café in Campinas. In June, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $550
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $145
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $175
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

So sorry you're going through this, Joaquim. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care
