Help Jéssica patch the roof before the next storm
The roof at Jéssica's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a retired bus driver living in São Paulo. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,100, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Hang in there. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. All the best.
Rooting for you, Jéssica. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 11 people at work. Love from 6th of October City.
