Help Jahid through 6 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
Jahid is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jahid was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at the Savar Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Jahid is 46, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Savar Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $590
• Scans and lab work: $165
• Transport to the Savar Oncology Institute: $140
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Household costs while unable to work: $240
