Help Jagadish with a gas fitter's skills: dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms
Jagadish has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In July an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $310 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $45.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Lagos.
Best of luck, Jagadish. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Put this on a community board in Pune this morning. All the best
Wishing you peace, Jagadish. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
