Isabela was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in November. The surgeon at Curitiba Orthopedic Institute recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,700, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,350 short.
my mother has been in and out of Curitiba Orthopedic Institute since November. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Isabela struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
