Help Iqra patch the roof before winter
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Quetta?
🇵🇰 Balochistan, Pakistan1,177 views
I'm a disabled veteran living in Quetta. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $540, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you, Iqra. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Greetings from Toulouse
Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
