Help Indah move out of an unsafe apartment this Friday
Indah has found a safe new apartment in Bandung and needs help moving heavy furniture on Friday.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Bandung, and the lease starts on Friday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thanks for sharing this, Indah. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Bandung.
