Help Imelda patch the roof before the autumn rains
Imelda, a night-shift nurse, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Caloocan.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Caloocan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $700, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you, Imelda. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
rooting for you, Imelda. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Limoges.
