Help Habtamu move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Adama, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thanks for sharing this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal.
