In February an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $950 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $175. The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • praying for you, Guadalupe. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

    • Sending good thoughts, Guadalupe. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

      • Rooting for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Casablanca.
