Help Gloria get through 5 hard months with a teenage son and a daughter in primary school
After a divorce, Gloria is raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school alone and needs $300 to stay afloat for 5 months.

Since a divorce in December, I'm now raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school on my own. I work as a driver, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a medical coder in the evenings, which will triple my income by March, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $300 goes:
• Childcare and after-school care: $130
• Groceries and school meals: $130
• Course fees and exam costs: $40

Take care, Gloria. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Sending good thoughts. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
so sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Madina.
Stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Manila
Thanks for sharing this, Gloria. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Manila donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Manila
You're not alone. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. It's not much but it's yours.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
